One dish, several spellings
Mjadara, mujadara and mujaddara are English transliterations you may see for this family of lentil dishes. Z’s dated menu uses mjadara. When ordering, mention the lentil-and-rice version shown in her gallery and confirm the grain and accompaniments for the current batch.
An everyday meal or part of a spread
The individual containers show how the dish can form a meal with salad. For a family table, ask whether a shared tray is available and how it would sit beside other mains. A mixed order may let guests choose between lentils and rice and a chicken or meat dish.
Check before calling it vegetarian
Lentils, rice and onions do not tell you everything about preparation. Ask about stock, fats and shared equipment if a meat-free meal matters. Confirm the salad and dressing too. The owner can answer for the actual batch in a way a menu name or photograph cannot.
Ask Z about your order
Include your date, city and number of people, plus any ingredients or preparation details that matter. Z confirms availability, the exact dish, amount, price and collection or delivery arrangements. The request form prepares a message for your review; it does not confirm an order. Pay only after the details and total have been agreed.
